UPDATE: The people have listened!! I just went in to Little Coyote to grab some slices for me and my lady. When I walked in there was no heat lamp in sight. The slices were amazing and back to normal. S/o to Little Coyote for listening to their customers. Ya'll have such good community in LBC and it feels great as a customer to be heard. I was craving pizza, this place came up and boy did it not disappoint! I just got a pepperoni slice which was very reasonably priced and also got a side of what seems like their homemade ranch. I also got a side of jalapeños which took the slice to the next level. The wait wasn't long, I joined their reward program because I knew I definitely was coming back. My favorite thing is how cold their drinks are, the refrigerator has them so cold my soda just tasted crispier. The overall ambience was very chill, their outdoor seating was nice too. I can't wait to go back and try their grandma square slice!

The smell coming from Little Coyote was so delicious that I had to stop by to try it. It's a decent place for a quick casual bite and the pizza is pretty good. I tried a slice of the white pie and the pepperoni on focaccia. I'll be skipping the focaccia next time in favor of another slice as I found the focaccia too doughy and not very flavorful aside from the pepperoni itself.

Little Coyote is unapologetically Long Beach and I'm here for that. I shared the antipasto salad ($7) and the small portion was more than enough. It comes with provolone, soppressata, garbanzo, artichoke, red onion, pepperoncinis with iceberg salad. There was definitely more toppings than salad, but that's how I like my salad sometimes. I absolutely loved their rendition of an antipasto salad - it was tart and creamy with plenty of good textures. Since we already had salad, we naturally went with the meat lovers pie ($26) This did not disappoint. It comes topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, mozzarella and red sauce. I love a good meat lovers pizza, but I don't like when it's too, too meaty. 3 is the perfect amount of meat love. I also like that the crust at Little Coyote is crispy but has a little chew. You consistently get a v good pizza pie regardless of your topping choice. This is the best neighborhood spot to have a casual pizza dinner.
